about the editor
Erica Lane began bee house journal because she writes and loves surreal, off beat poems, and wanted a journal dedicated to the strange. She is currently a master's student in writing for film and television at the University of Southern California, and received a bachelor's degree in film with concentrations in screenwriting and creative writing from Boston University. She is originally from Merrimack, New Hampshire and now lives in Los Angeles. She misses going to Books and Wonders, a little Highland Park bookstore full of small press poetry books during this pandemic. Her first poetry collection, Bottomless, was published in August 2018 by dancing girl press, and she has had poems published in The Beacon, Speak for Yourself, and The First Experiment.
